About Museum, Archives and Art Services

Museum, Archives and Art Services (MAA Services) is a specialist consultancy dedicated to supporting the preservation, management, and presentation of cultural and historical collections. Co-Directors Anthony and Amanda O’Carroll bring over 17 years of professional experience across galleries, libraries, archives, and museums, combining expertise in collection management, digitisation, curatorship, and research. We partner with public institutions, corporate collections, and private collectors to deliver tailored solutions that safeguard collections while making them accessible, meaningful, and engaging. Our services include collection management and policy development, high-resolution digitisation, database management, exhibition curation, art production, and archival research. At MAA Services, we believe that collections have a story to tell and that careful preservation combined with creative interpretation ensures they remain relevant for future generations. We provide practical, flexible, and high-quality solutions that meet each client’s unique needs, whether that involves transferring records in compliance with government standards, designing exhibitions, or delivering digital storytelling projects. Our approach balances technical expertise with creativity, enabling institutions and collectors to protect their assets while sharing them effectively with their audiences. By focusing on collaboration, attention to detail, and industry best practice, MAA Services helps clients maximise the value, impact, and longevity of their collections. We are committed to excellence in cultural stewardship, supporting organisations to achieve compliance, accessibility, and engagement through innovative solutions tailored to each project.
