About Musgrove and Ball

Musgrove and Ball was founded in 2022 by Director’s Patrick and Sophie after both overcoming addiction issues stemming back over a decade. 🚂💨 The company was born after noticing a huge problem in the business world, organisations struggle to understand addiction in the workplace, and in 2024, work events still centre solely around alcohol. We work with the likes of Nestle, Virgin, Balfour Beatty, Atkinsrealis, Network Rail, Kier Group, WPP, BAE Systems, Jacobs and many more great companies to help them improve communications and create an open culture of trust where workers can open up if they are struggling.. Patrick is a recovering alcoholic and addict who suffered in silence at home and in the business world. In July 2019, after spending six figures on alcohol and cocaine over a 16-year period, becoming homeless and losing everything, he went into rehab at the Priory Woodbourne in Birmingham. Sophie is in recovery from an eating disorder, losing over 13 stone on her journey since major surgery in 2017. She is also over two years sober and an inspiration for many in the weight loss community. Musgrove and Ball share our story "Hiding Addiction In The Workplace" to help educate employees on how to spot addiction in the workplace, and how to approach someone who may be struggling. 🎤
