About Music Serving the Word Ministries

Music Serving the Word Ministries (MSW) is a Scottsdale-based Christian nonprofit dedicated to glorifying God through music. MSW was founded by Bob and Gretchen Ravenscroft in 2006 with a strong ethos in supporting music and the arts that serve God’s Word. Just as everyone is made in the image of God, MSW believes that humanity’s unique capacity to create and share music is a direct expression of His love. Since then, MSW has been committed to equipping musicians, students, and local outreaches across Phoenix with mentorship, funding, teaching, and quality musicianship. MSW is the parent organization of many local ministries, including The Ravenscroft music venue, the Valley Jazz Cooperative educational program, and the Jazz for the Soul benefit concert series.
