About Muskurahat Educational & Welfare Trust

At Muskurahat our aim is to motivate an underprivilged, orphan or street child's family to send them to school, which is an extremely hard task because of the lack of awareness and responsibility. Some of these kids are even earning members for their families. However, once the guardian agrees, the life of this deserving child changes. We cannot all possibly be there physically for such children to provide them with the facilities they need, however, we all have the ability to be a rock of support for these kids from any part of the world in several ways. Most girls in the remote areas of Pakistan are denied the right to education and are married off as soon as they reach puberty. This is either done due to the centuries old prevalent norms or because of extreme poverty. Set up in the aftermath of the massive floods that hit Pakistan in 2010, Asma Model School for Girls aims to provide the girls of the poor farmers and labourers of a remote village in KPK with quality education. The goal is to revolutionise the current mindsets and make these deserving girls self-reliant and contributing members of the society in the future. If we wish for the next generation to live a better life, education of a good standard, without any gender discrimination, is the answer. Every little girl is ensured free schooling because... THE LIFE OF EACH GIRL CHILD MATTERS! Established in 2013, Asma Homes supports comfortable living and clothing, nutrition and quality education of 40 underprivileged children of age 4 to 18 under one roof. The children are homeschooled to help them reach a level where they are ready to be enrolled in mainstream schools of the twin cities, so they are seen and accepted as equal members of the society. The children are nurtured with love, care and attention so they may overcome their past setbacks and begin to live meaningful and purposeful lives. At Muskurahat, the LIFE of EACH CHILD MATTERS!
