About My Family Group

My Family Group is an umbrella organisation for the Muslim Foster Network, Muslim Youth Link, Arise Refugees, My Adoption Family and My Foster Family. Working together to improve the outcomes for children who have experianced care. Our movement started in 2017 when we first looked at the challenges facing Muslim children in care. Our mission is to take the knowledge, learning and networks from our work in the Muslim community over the past 5 years and grow to breakdown barriers and tackle the challenges across the wider sector and support participation of all diverse communities.
