About My Own Backyard Films

Great stories can exist right in your own backyard. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, My Own Backyard Films is a full-service creative production company dedicated to telling powerful, place-based stories. We work with Bay Area artists and also welcome creators from outside the region who are looking to bring their next project to life in one of the most culturally rich and visually dynamic places in the world. From narrative films and documentaries to branded content and commercials, we provide end-to-end support—financing, development, production, post-production, and distribution. Whether you're an emerging local voice or an established artist looking to shoot in the Bay, we’re here to help shape your vision into something unforgettable. Let’s tell the stories that live just outside your door—or the ones waiting to be found here.
