About myfilmfriend, Inc.

Entertain & Discover: What if you could stream hundreds of films for free from anywhere simply using your public library ID? myfilmfriend is a new film streaming service for users of public and university libraries in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Our streaming platform provides library users with unlimited access (no ticketing system!) to great movies, series, concerts, and award-winning documentaries from all over the world, with a focus on Europe’s cinematography as well as on movies coming from Latin America, Africa & Asia. Launched in 2017 with one partner library, myfilmfriend has grown to include more than 1,000 libraries across Europe in 2024. The myfilmfriend flexible pricing plan makes it perfect for libraries of all budgets and sizes in the USA, Canada, Mexico and beyond. By subscribing to myfilmfriend, libraries provide their members with access to an expertly curated catalog of European and World Cinema – with daily recommendations for users. myfilmfriend.com has its own TV-App on the Apple TV, Android TV & Amazon Fire TV stores. Roku integration is also coming very soon.
