About NaayaStudio

Naaya Studio is a design-led ceramic lighting studio exploring the relationship between material, form, and light. Grounded in traditional ceramic craftsmanship and shaped by contemporary design thinking, we create lighting objects that are both expressive and functional. Our work exists at the intersection of art and engineering. Every piece begins with material exploration and evolves through close collaboration between our founders, engineers, and skilled artisans—ensuring each design balances emotion, performance, and precision. Leadership & Design Intent The studio is led by our Founders and Design Principals, who give equal importance to aesthetic vision and technical excellence. The artistic perspective, informed by multidisciplinary artistry and brand strategy (MBA), focuses on material expression and the emotional resonance of lighting as functional art. The engineering perspective, shaped by rigorous technical training at IISc Bangalore and Coventry University (UK), drives structural innovation, precision, and long-term performance. Bridging Craft with Scale Naaya Studio’s strength lies in scaling craftsmanship without losing its soul. Through refined processes and technical rigor, we deliver consistent quality while remaining flexible enough to support bespoke designs and project-specific requirements—from custom residential pieces to large-scale hospitality and architectural installations. A Global Design Network We collaborate with a global network of architects, interior designers, and design-conscious homeowners. Our work has found resonance across the USA, UK, Europe, and Australia, and we continue to build long-term partnerships rooted in clarity, reliability, and respect for craft. As ceramic lighting gains wider appreciation, we are excited to explore meaningful collaborations within both global and Indian markets. We believe lighting is more than illumination. It shapes space, defines mood, and gives material a voice.
