About Nadbiskupijski centar za pastoral mladih "Ivan Pavao II" / Youth Center "John Paul II"
The Youth Center ‘John Paul II’ is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian organization registered in 2007, although it was already active since 2004 as ‘Office for youth’. It is a place for intercultural meetings, education and spiritual development for youngsters. NCM values are based on solidarity, tolerance, self-respect and respect for others, altruism and humanism. Through non-formal education and volunteering, NCM offers to young people the opportunity to express talents and build up knowledge, contributing to their personal development and involving them in cultural learning, mobility actions and intercultural exchanges. NCM implements projects, courses and trainings (Training for trainers as Youth workers, project proposals writing courses, language courses) where young people can enhance and enrich their knowledge, and be more willing to access to a safer life and increase employment opportunities. NCM also works on social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and children without parental care, through projects accompanying them in different situations of daily life.
