Naglus Industries Sdn. Bhd. is a spin-off company of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) registered under SSM 1359337-D. It is founded by the academia and industry people in commercializing research products. Products of Naglus Industries Sdn. Bhd. (referred to as “Naglus Industries”) is designed to mitigate climate change based on nanotechnology. Naglus Industries Sdn. Bhd. produces low carbon emission device made from biomass waste. Our nano resin is extracted from green biomass waste specifically from nano cellulose. It is a perfect example of biomass renewable energy R&D&C&I – Research, Development, Commercialization, and Innovation, which converts biomass waste into wealth or high value-added products. Naglus Industries’s main product; Dr.Z NanoFuel™ patch has been a remarkable innovation to mitigate climate change due to its potential in reducing carbon emission CO and CO2 in vehicles. This product has addressed the Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals set by United Nations General Assembly that are SDG 13 (Climate Action) for low carbon emission by vehicle exhaust and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) as it is made from biomass waste nanofluid. This is a nanotechnology driven with renewable biomass nanofluid which falls under one of the 10 Science & Technology Drivers - BioScience Technology and two of the 10 Socio-Economic Drivers – Energy and Environment & Biodiversity. Dr.Z NanoFuel™ patch is one of the 30 National STIE Niche Areas that is Innovative Eco-Products from Waste. Our product has been certified as a genuinely Nanotechnology product; NV000080 conferred by NANOVerified Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of NanoMalaysia Berhad audited by SIRIM QAS International. Confirmation of this nano certification is given only to the products that have passed the SIRIM audit and made from product’s particle size less than 100 nanometer (nm). Dr.Z NanoFuel™ patch has occupied a size of 20 nm particle size.
