About Nahar International School

Nahar International School is an independent, unaided trust school founded in 2014. NIS has 43560sq. feet campus in the central suburbs of Mumbai. The school building is part of a neighbourhood community of more than 5,000 people. At NIS, we accept students from many different communities, nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, and languages. We create a thought-provoking environment where students are encouraged to express their opinions without any inhibitions, stimulate their creativity and curiosity, and explore their passion for learning. Beyond the academic realm, we focus on the social, ethical, and emotional development of the students. Every student is encouraged to be a better individual and view competition in the right spirit towards growth and self-development. NIS is a humanistic school with facilitators who value the importance of EQ as equal to IQ and believe that the potential of every student is unique and different from the other. Our facilitators believe in empowering the learners to take on challenges by encouraging them to seek multiple perspectives. The facilitators align the IB philosophy with the required rigor of the Diploma Program to help students manage their time, multitask their activities, analyze and evaluate their choices and disintegrate their boundaries of comfort. Cambridge Assessment International Education prepares our students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. We are part of the University of Cambridge. We devote our resources to delivering high-quality educational programmes that can unlock learners' potential. NIS' rigorous curriculum is guided by Cambridge Assessment International Education from Pre-Primary to Grade 10 with the option of IBDP and Cambridge A-Levels at High School. The learning environment at Nahar International School allows students to go beyond the four walls of the classroom and engage in experiential learning through hands-on project work.
