About Nashville Public Education Foundation

NPEF is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary year! For two decades, the Nashville Public Education Foundation has consistently prioritized the needs of students and schools in a rapidly evolving city. With an unwavering focus on helping to shape a future where every student thrives, NPEF has proven that bold change is best achieved with informed and united educators, families, students, community members, and business and civic leaders. The Nashville Public Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that removes barriers to student success by advocating for change, promoting excellence and innovation, supporting Metro Nashville Public Schools as a strategic thought partner, and convening stakeholders to drive community solutions. Since its founding in 2002, NPEF has fostered solutions that have led to tangible results in professional learning for educators, school funding, literacy, teacher pay, principal quality, and more.
