About National Hypnotherapy Society

The National Hypnotherapy Society is a not for profit membership organisation supporting and promoting Hypnotherapy and Hypnotherapists. We believe Hypnotherapy not to be a stand alone therapy but one which fits within the wider community of 'talking therapies'. Mission: At the National Hypnotherapy Society we seek to contribute to public well being both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical to practice. In 2013 our register of Hypnotherapists was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register scheme. Description: This is the official page for the National Hypnotherapy Society. We are a not for profit membership organisation bound by appropriate rules of governance including a Constitution, Code of Ethics and various standards of training and membership. Our register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Registers scheme. General Information: The intention of our media pages is to provide our followers with interesting, topical and therapy related content. We do not necessarily agree with the content posted and such content posted is not necessarily the view of the National Hypnotherapy Society.
