NSHA is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to preventing infant abandonment in the United States. NSHA’s mission is to end infant abandonment and infanticide by increasing awareness of the Safe Haven law, providing safe alternatives to parents in crisis, and partnering with state organizations to increase awareness and education of the Safe Haven law. NSHA operates the 24/7, National Safe Haven Crisis Hotline for parents and providers in need of Safe Haven information and support, 1-888-510-BABY.
