About New York Art Conservation

NYAC is a women-owned business founded in 2022. Our collective knowledge, trust, and experience is our strength, and as an equal partnership, we value a collaborative spirit and democratic exchange of ideas and professionalism. We hold our work to the highest of standards and take pride in the relationships we have developed over the years with artists and artist foundations. Our international and multilingual team of highly skilled and specialized conservators has consistently excelled in problem-solving, finding solutions for unprecedented conservation challenges, and adjusting established treatment approaches to contemporary and non-traditional materials. We have an innate understanding of the art market’s complexity and the specific role that conservation plays. We work closely with allied professionals and conservators in other specialities to create a full spectrum of conservation services. In order to keep up with the latest methodologies in conservation and always striving for new heights of acquired education, we are members of and active participants in the following professional associations: AIC, AIC – CAN (founding members), ICOM-CC, INCCA, Alliance for Response NY.
