The New York State Chaplaincy Group is a 509 a2 Not-For-Profit organization. We train and develop highly skilled volunteer chaplains who provide support and collaborate with individuals, government and third-party agencies, and organizations during both peaceful and crisis times. Our chaplains practice active listening, offer honest and unbiased moral and spiritual guidance to everyone, regardless of their beliefs or culture, without promoting their own faith, belief system, personal, or political views. Mission, policies and services: Our mission is to educate, maintain, and deploy highly trained chaplains who can deliver quality and safe spiritual and emotional support services. We recognize the significance of well-trained chaplains for individuals facing illnesses, traumas, losses, and life transitions. By integrating the body, mind, and spirit, we believe that spiritual and emotional care should be accessible to all people, at any time. The New York State Chaplaincy Group aims to provide personal, emotional, and spiritual support to Federal, State, and Local agencies, as well as the community. They operate as a voluntary duty, offering confidential pastoral and spiritual assistance in proactive and crisis situations. Their goal is to promote the well-being of individuals regardless of their faith or worldviews.
