About New York State Preferred Source Program for New Yorkers Who Are Blind
The New York State Preferred Source Program (NYSPSP) for New Yorkers Who Are Blind is a state-mandated initiative to create and sustain employment opportunities for New Yorkers who are blind or visually impaired. Through NYSPSP, New Yorkers who are blind are employed at 10 affiliated nonprofit agencies across the state. These dedicated employees deliver quality products and services tailored to meet customer requirements. When you purchase NYSPSP products and services, you are supporting employment opportunities that offer a prevailing wage, eligibility for health benefits, and pathways for New Yorkers who are blind to become taxpayers who contribute to our economy and tax base.
