About New Zealand Football Foundation

The New Zealand Football Foundation (NZFF) is a charitable trust using the power of football to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and make sure no one in Aotearoa is left on the sidelines. Established in 2010 with $4 million from FIFA World Cup qualification funds, NZFF now raises and distributes grants to projects that remove barriers to participation and grow the game at every level — from youth and women’s football to innovation and social impact programmes. Since its launch, the Foundation has distributed over $2 million in grants across the country, helping more New Zealanders experience the joy and lifelong benefits of football. Guided by our trustees and partners, NZFF continues to grow a sustainable capital fund that ensures the future of Football for Good in Aotearoa.
