About NEWS CENTER Maine

We are more than television. More than a newsroom. More than a place to advertise. We provide content to you when and where you need, on the platforms you want. We offer valuable marketing opportunities to businesses. And most of all, we advocate for our community – because our mission is to make life better for Mainers. NEWS CENTER Maine is an NBC-affiliated media company serving the state of Maine, covering the Portland-Auburn and Bangor television markets. The company, with offices in downtown Portland and Bangor, is home of the largest TV audiences in the state. WCSH 6 is Portland-Auburn's #1 choice for local news, drawing larger news audiences than the local CBS and ABC stations combined, while WLBZ 2 is a strong #2 in Bangor. WCSH 6 and WLBZ 2 are also live-streamed on Hulu Live TV, Fubo, AT&T TV, YouTube TV and Philo – meaning the exact content that is seen over the air (via an antenna) or on cable or satellite is seen on these streaming service providers. WCSH 6 is on all six, and WLBZ 2 is on YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV and Philo. The NEWS CENTER Maine group is owned by TEGNA, Inc. (NYSE: TGNA). Visit us online at www.newscentermaine.com.
