NextHen specializes in identification through to expression of advantageous phenotypes (traits) of both broilers and layers in the poultry industry. Its flagship project is providing a sustainable, cost-saving way to end the culling of male chicks, by enabling the laying of eggs from which only non-GMO females hatch - the only viable method to end the slaughter of 7 billion chicks each year.
