About Nicosia for Art

Nicosia for Art is where Nicosia's creative spirit comes to life. As the proud home of the Municipal Theatre of Nicosia and the vibrant Nicosia International Festival, we are passionate about supporting and celebrating the rich arts scene in Cyprus’s capital. The Municipal Theatre is more than just a venue, it’s a gathering place where stories unfold, performances captivate, and new ideas take shape. Year-round, it welcomes artists and audiences to experience theatre, music, dance, and experimental art in a space that inspires creativity and connection. Every year, the Nicosia International Festival brings the city to life with a dazzling mix of music, visual arts, theatre, and performances from local and international artists. It’s a moment when Nicosia shines on the cultural map, inviting everyone to share in the joy and diversity of the arts. At Nicosia for Art, we believe art has the power to connect people, spark conversations, and enrich our communities. Beyond our events and venues, we work closely with artists, schools, universities, and partners to create opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration. Whether you’re an artist looking for a supportive home, a visitor curious about Nicosia’s culture, or a community member eager to get involved, Nicosia for Art is here to welcome you. Together, we’re building a creative future where art is accessible, inspiring, and deeply part of everyday life.
