About Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum

The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum is the largest forum of female members of the Nigerian Bar Association who are committed to uplifting and empowering female lawyers for success. With branches spread all over Nigeria and beyond, the Forum has created tremendous impacts among female lawyers, democratizing opportunities for young lawyers most especially, to access the right mentorship and guidance that they need in order to excel in their legal careers. Founded in 2019 by the then NBA president, Paul Usoro SAN, the NBA Women Forum has become an umbrella organization that provides a solid foundation and support system for women who wish to explore their full potential and get to the zenith of their professions. Through annual conferences, seminars, workshops, and mentoring sessions, the NBA Women Forum has created a platform for meaningful interaction and engagement which has over the past few years galvanized female lawyers, especially the young ones to early on identify and commit to career paths that will enable them to thrive in the legal profession in Nigeria and beyond. Going forward, the Forum remains very committed to ensuring that female lawyers in Nigeria not only gain incredible support, knowledge, and strength from the numerous programs, projects, and events of the Forum, but also become mentors, teachers, and role models to future generations of female lawyers.
