NIKA is an association of international lawyers and human rights defenders fighting to create a better world “For the Future” in Latin America and Europe. With a steadfast belief in the capacity of international human rights law to address systemic and intergenerational challenges, NIKA’s mission is to fight for human rights protection, strengthen democracy, and advance environmental and intergenerational justice in Latin America and Europe through applied research, international legal practice and consultancy, and transatlantic collaboration and learning. _ NIKA es una asociación de defensores y defensoras de derechos humanos luchando por un mundo mejor “Por el Futuro” en América Latina y Europa. Empleando el derecho internacional de los derechos humanos para abordar desafíos sistémicos e intergeneracionales, la misión de NIKA es luchar por la plena efectividad de los derechos humanos, fortalecer la democracia representativa y abogar por la justicia climática e intergeneracional en América Latina y Europa mediante la investigación aplicada, la práctica jurídica internacional y la colaboración y el aprendizaje transatlántico.
