About Nikoi Island

Nikoi Island is a unique private island with sustainability at the forefront of its ground-breaking design. Approaching by private speed boat across shimmering azure waters towards the white sands of Nikoi. Luxury on Nikoi means space and time to truly disconnect – with only 18 villas, families encouraged, no televisions and an island that has been slowly developed over several years to preserve the natural habitat and wildlife. Every guest will find their own sense of adventure and going barefoot is positively encouraged. Long regarded as one of the most stunning islands on this relatively unspoilt coast, Nikoi is fortunate to have remained in pristine condition. It is ringed with white sandy beaches and coral reefs of spectacular colour and diversity and a coastline studded with magnificent white granite boulders that seemingly defy gravity. Rising to a height of 30m, the island also boasts a rain forest where colossal trees, including native Banyan trees, provide a sanctuary to a diverse population of local birds. The use of locally sourced sustainable materials and a devotion to maintaining the natural beauty of the island ensures Nikoi Island will be an ecologically sound destination with preservation at its heart. The environmental strategy extends beyond the island to the employment and training of local staff. As a result, Nikoi is not only an important contributor to the local community, but a project that local people feel proud and privileged to be part of.
