About Niskus Biotec

Niskus Biotec turns wet spent grains and pot ale from breweries and distilleries into revenue on site, helping producers run more sustainable, ESG‑aligned businesses across water, heat, and power. We deploy modular 20‑ft shipping‑container “mini pilot biorefineries” that plug directly into existing operations. These units convert sidestreams into high‑value bioproducts such as enzymes, protein‑rich microbial biomass, and cleaner process water, with minimal disruption to workflows. Our CAPEX‑light, OPEX‑smart pilots combine non‑GMO trained strains, customised fermentation platforms, IoT sensors, edge AI, feedback control, and digital twinning to demonstrate site‑specific yields and economics. This enables partners to de‑risk scale‑up, accelerate regulatory and market validation, and make faster, data‑driven investment decisions. The same building blocks scale into multi‑stream, multi‑product container biorefineries across food and drink sidestreams, enabling flexible revenue‑share and financing models.
