About Nitsch Engineering
Nitsch Engineering provides civil, transportation, and structural engineering; land surveying; resilience and green infrastructure; planning; and GIS services. Since 1989, we have worked on major private development and public infrastructure projects in 21 states and five countries. We have earned the respect and confidence of our clients, as demonstrated by the fact that 97% of our work comes from repeat clients. From our three offices in Massachusetts (Boston, Lawrence, and Worcester), and one in Washington, DC, we are committed to meeting the goal defined in our tagline: building better communities with you! We define ourselves by WHY we do what we do – to positively impact our clients, employees, and communities by conducting ourselves with integrity and focusing on our core values; paying close personal attention to the needs and goals of our clients and employees; modeling professional behaviors and standards; focusing on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging; embodying a high level of corporate citizenship; and demonstrating, at all times, a caring attitude. Our corporate culture is based on the idea that happy and engaged employees are the single most important element in having a successful firm. We encourage our staff to do work that challenges and excites them; we support their professional growth through education, mentoring, and professional society involvement; and along the way we have frequent social events for fun and relaxation. For these reasons, and many more, we've been ranked highly on the Boston Globe's Top Places to Work in Massachusetts list every year since 2015, and were ranked the second Best Civil Engineering Firm to Work For in the country by ZweigWhite in 2014.
