About Nivalis - Ice Pigging

Nivalis Ice Pigging – Specialist Pipework Cleaning for Critical or "high value" systems Nivalis delivers Ice Pigging as a bespoke, specialist service for organisations operating in high-performance and highly regulated sectors. We work in environments where reliability, hygiene, validation and system cleanliness are critical, including advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, defence and FMCG operations. We allow improved system integrity, system (platform) availability and production resilience. Our managed Ice Pigging service provides Deep internal cleaning of complex pipework systems Effective removal of fouling and biofilm build-up Reduced water, chemical and waste usage Rapid return to service with minimal disruption Improved operational efficiency and long-term reliability For customers requiring in-house capability, particularly within FMCG and continuous production environments, we also design and manufacture bespoke Ice Pigging equipment. This is often tailored to specific process and compliance requirements. Our systems are engineered for reliability, ease of deployment and seamless integration into existing production infrastructure. Whether delivering a fully managed service or supplying engineered equipment, our approach is collaborative and technically rigorous. We take time to understand each process, risk profile and performance objective before defining the solution. Many of the challenges we help address are not ones organisations wish to publicise. Our role is to deliver robust, effective outcomes professionally and discreetly, protecting both performance and reputation. If you’re responsible for system performance, hygiene assurance or operational resilience, we’re always happy to start with a confidential conversation.
