About Norland College

For over 130 years, Norland has delivered world-class early childhood education and training, enabling students to become exceptional nannies and early years practitioners. Undergraduates study for a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education and Care alongside the unique practical Norland diploma in the beautiful city of Bath, leading to the prestigious title of Norland Nanny. Postgraduates study for an MA in Early Childhood Education and Care, with specialisms in home-based pedagogy and care, sleep hygiene, supporting behaviour and food and nutrition. Norland Agency works exclusively with Norland Nannies, graduates of our undergraduate degree and diploma, placing them in positions with families worldwide. All nannies and Maternity Nurses placed through Norland Agency hold a minimum Level 3 qualification, have completed a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid course within the last three years, and have an up-to-date DBS check. Norland Agency also verifies all references before placing a Norland Nanny to ensure our high standards are upheld. Our Early Years Consultants deliver bespoke consultancy and training to a wide range of companies, organisations and charities. Working in partnership with clients, they aim to positively influence the quality of children’s lives and enable clients to reflect, develop, and grow their expertise. This tailored approach enhances service offerings and creates unique selling points across industries.
