North Sea Fish Restaurant is one of London’s most established independent seafood restaurants, serving guests in the heart of Bloomsbury since 1977. Every morning, our fish arrives fresh from Billingsgate Market, London’s great wholesale fish market. We cook every dish to order: fried in our signature batter, simply grilled, or in egg and matzo meal on request. Nothing is frozen. Nothing sits under a lamp. Our 80-seat dining room on Leigh Street, Bloomsbury, is ten minutes’ walk from the British Museum and around five minutes from Russell Square tube. We welcome diners from across London, international visitors, corporate lunch parties, and group bookings of up to 40 guests. We hold the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2025, placing us in the Top 10% of restaurants worldwide. We are independently owned and family-run.
