About Northup Fundraising

At Northup Fundraising, we believe two things: people give to people, and every great ask is an invitation to change the world. We partner with nonprofits to design donor-first experiences—from strategy to stagecraft—so giving feels easy, joyful, and inevitable. What we do • Live auctioneering & emceeing • Raise-the-Paddle strategy + on-stage execution • Pre-committed leadership gifts, challenge matches, fund-a-need design • Scriptwriting, run-of-show, slide/AV guidance, pacing • Donor cultivation coaching & board training • Item architecture, pricing, and revenue modeling • Timeline planning and end-to-end consulting How we’re different • Authentic partners. We’re auctioneers and advisors who believe in your mission—and show up like it. • Obsessed with details. Scripts, slides, timing, run-of-show—nothing is left to chance. • Preparation is performance. We lock scripts early, align leaders, and rehearse so the room is ready when the moment arrives. • Showcraft + strategy. We blend storytelling, timing, and donor psychology so the “yes” feels obvious. Impact Our team supports 150+ nonprofit fundraisers each year, helping organizations raise tens of millions annually across arts & culture, education, health, animal welfare, and human services. From intimate gatherings to gala ballrooms, we build nights that feel personal, purposeful, and—yes—fun. Who we serve Museums, schools, hospitals, and community nonprofits that want record-setting results without the stress. We collaborate closely with planners, staff, and boards so everyone rows in the same direction.
