About Norwegian Film Commission

The Norwegian Film Commission is the national agency dedicated to attracting, supporting, and maximising international film and high-end television production in Norway. Norway has rapidly emerged as a premier global filming destination, hosting major international productions including Superman, Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, No Time to Die, Black Widow, Succession, Dune, and more. We provide hands-on support to international producers at every stage of production — from early development and location scouting to production facilitation and post-production — including guidance on Norway’s 25% cash rebate incentive. We connect international productions with Norway’s highly skilled producers, crew, and service companies, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and creatively ambitious shoots. Working closely with national and regional partners, we help strengthen capacity across the Norwegian screen industry while contributing to long-term economic impact, tourism, and regional development. Renowned for its dramatic natural landscapes and striking architectural diversity — from fjords and alpine mountains to modern infrastructure and historic cityscapes — Norway offers an exceptional range of locations in close proximity, many still unseen on screen. The Norwegian Film Commission is a member of AFCI and EUFCN, and part of the Nordic Film Commissions network.
