This unique Scholarship enables you to visit the USA for between 6 weeks and 3 months to investigate a work related topic of your choice. If you’re aged between 21 and 35 and living or working in the City or County of Nottingham, then you’re eligible to apply. No formal qualifications are necessary, and this unique career and personal development opportunity provides you with £1,500 or up to £3,000, plus a return flight to New York with which to make your visit. Since 1946, over 150 scholars have been awarded this prestigious Scholarship. The Nottingham Roosevelt Memorial Travelling Scholarship is awarded annually to young men and women aged between 21 and 35 working and/or living in the City or County of Nottingham and being primarily engaged in trade, commerce or the professions. The Scholarship consists of a gift of money to enable the successful applicant them to visit the United States of America for a period of between 6 weeks and three months.
