About NOVA of Virginia Aquatics

NOVA of Virginia Aquatics (Est. 1987) is a leader in promoting water safety, healthy lifestyles, and the lifelong sport of swimming. NOVA’s elite coaching, quality programming, and independently owned facilities make it the premier aquatics destination in Central Virginia. Learn to swim programs run year-round and serve individuals from age 3 to adults. The competitive swim team, with 815 swimmers ages 5 to 18, is the #1 club in Virginia Swimming and is ranked consistently by USA Swimming as a national Top-Ten organization and is currently recognized as #3 out of 2500 clubs nationwide. NOVA offers clinics for high school and summer league swimmers, adult fitness lap swimming (NOVAFit), an adult competitive team (Masters), and outreach through community partnerships. NOVA operates two Aquatics Centers in Henrico County, VA with 46 lanes of total pool capacity. Each location has a Virginia Swim Shop, with custom supplies for all outfitting and equipment needs. NOVA most recently received a grant from Henrico County to promote regional sports tourism and complete the second floor of the Regency Facility. This project will add 1000 seats, and make NOVA and Henrico County a national destination for local, regional and national level swimming competitions.
