About Novin AgriTech

Imagine a world where cereal crops like wheat, rice, barley, and oats are stronger, healthier, and more nutritious than ever before. For decades, traditional breeding has worked toward these goals, but progress has often been slow, taking many years to deliver noticeable improvements. While some crops have benefited from modern agricultural innovations, many staple cereals have remained difficult to advance at the same pace. Now, Novin AgriTech (a spin-off of Purdue University) is changing that trajectory with a breakthrough approach to crop enhancement. By rethinking how improvements are introduced at the biological level, Novin removes many of the long, complex steps that have historically limited progress. The result is a faster, more adaptable way to improve a wide range of cereal crops with a high degree of precision and consistency. This approach has already shown strong results in wheat, barley, oats, and rice, opening the door to crops that are more resilient, productive, and nutritious. By accelerating innovation in essential food sources, Novin’s technology has the potential to strengthen global food systems, support climate resilience, and help meet the needs of a growing population. The future of farming is taking shape and with Novin AgriTech leading the way, the possibilities are wide open.
