Nuage Therapeutics is a biotech company focused on developing small molecule inhibitors of oncogenic transcription factors. The company has a particular focus on drugging cell lineage-specific transcription factors that are known cancer dependency genes. Built on a deep understanding of transcriptional regulation and the biophysics of intrinsically-disordered proteins (IDPs), Nuage has developed technologies that enable the ‘capture’ of IDPs in higher-order, self-assembled states that present binding pockets that render these proteins amenable to small molecule drug discovery. This represents a game-changing advance that has led to the identification of functional inhibitors of multiple transcription factors that were previously considered undruggable.
