About Nurture Egg Donor Program

Nurture Egg Donor program is South Africa’s most successful egg donor program. Nurture was founded in 2008 by Tertia Albertyn, an infertility veteran herself who went through 9 IVFs to conceive her twins. Within a year of operation, the agency had become South Africa’s most successful agency and remains in that position today 14 years later as the most recommended egg donor agency. Highly respected for its ethical approach to egg donation, Nurture has completed over 3500 egg donor cycles, helping several thousand parents realize their dream of having a child. A pioneer in the egg donation arena, Nurture has partnered with a leading fertility clinic in Cape Town to offer the continent’s first FDA approved frozen donor egg program. Nurture has an active database of over 350 egg donors who are in various stages of the donation process. Nurture has developed a world-class sophisticated IT solution to manage all the aspects of egg donation including the application process, the donor database, the recipient database, the operational process, invoicing, CRM, business intelligence and project management. Besides the practical support and management of egg donors, Nurture provides emotional support and advice to the donors and future parents. Having been through the process of egg donation as a donor and also as a fertility patient, the team at Nurture understand exactly what is involved in the process of egg donation, both from a process point of view, but more importantly from an emotional, social and psychological point of view. From a personal, professional, experience and knowledge point of view, there is no other entity more competent to manage egg donation in South Africa than the team at Nurture Egg Donor Program.
