Upon completion of the earn-in, Nuvau will own 100% of the claim package, which spans over 2,400 claims and covers an area of over 1,250 square kilometers in the northern part of the Abitibi. Nuvau's focus is on exploring critical minerals, particularly zinc and copper, and has several promising exploration targets across the Matagami property. The company will invest over $30 million in a 3-year aggressive exploration program to test and expand existing targets, follow up on potential targets identified by airborne geophysics, and explore areas of the property that are invisible to conventional geophysics due to the depth of the existing overburden. Nuvau also has existing resources that position it to become a producer in the near future, including three undeveloped ore bodies with defined resources of over 9 million tonnes. Nuvau's experienced team of mining professionals has a deep understanding of the Matagami property, mineral exploration, and mine building and operation. With excellent existing infrastructure on the property, including a 4,000-tonne-per-day concentrator that was operated by Glencore until June 2022, Nuvau is well-positioned to become a producer with reduced initial capital requirements.
