Formerly known as The Management Agency, New Zealand Bee Health & Biosecurity (NZBB) is the management agency appointed to implement the Biosecurity (National American Foulbrood Pest Management Plan) Order 1998 and support beekeepers to eliminate American Foulbrood (AFB) disease from managed honey bee colonies. NZBB has in-house technical expertise and infrastructure to support beekeepers in important areas of honey bee health and biosecurity practices.
