About Oakville News

Oakville News is an online news source dedicated to bringing the latest and most up-to-date information to the Oakville community, while providing businesses with an effective and verifiable way to communicate with their customers. We believe that credible local knowledge creates a strong and vibrant community. Here are a few ways we fulfill our goals: We inform the community about decisions that are being contemplated in town hall, before they get passed. We support Halton Regional Police, so that we stay as the safest community in Canada. We do restaurant reviews, so that readers can support excellent chefs. OakvilleNews.Org's events listing is the most comprehensive, because there is little point in finding out about an event after it has taken place. We are committed to creating a high quality news source for Oakville that is easy to use, and delivers high value for both its readers as well as its advertisers - since you can't have one with out the other.
