The Observatory for the Quality of Law is a research group created in 2005 at the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), certified and financed by National Council for Research (CNPq), and coordinated by professor Dr. Fabiana de Menezes Soares. Its general objective is to present strategies to maximize citizens' awareness and democratic experience, in order to minimize the effects of hypertrophy and legislative inadequacy.
