About Ocean Plastic Technologies

Ocean Plastic Technologies (OPT) develops 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 that enable entrepreneurs and communities to turn plastic waste into high-value materials. By capturing and processing plastic at source, it re-enters the supply chain, adding to the circular economy. Turning waste into opportunity, our engineered solutions unlock up to three times more income for reclaimers and operators. The result: more jobs, more wealth in communities and measurable progress toward a sustainable future. Our work is built on five pillars that cover every stage of plastic recycling: 1. Micro Recycling Pods (MRPs): Compact, modular units that wash, dry and shred plastic waste on-site, even hard-to-recycle materials like vapes and e-cigarettes. 2. Recycling as a Service (RaaS): A flexible, turnkey model that makes high-performance recycling accessible for governments, businesses and communities worldwide. 3. Recycled Materials: Our buy-back programme ensures processed plastic re-enters the circular economy as qualified recycled material, helping companies meet sustainability goals. 4. Circular Products: We turn recycled materials into durable, functional products that merge purpose, performance and design. 5. Research & Development: We partner with industry to pioneer breakthrough methods for recycling materials once considered impossible to process. Driving all of this is our technology platform, Ocean Plastic Technologies Inclusive — a blockchain-enabled track and trace app that brings full transparency and accountability to the recycling process. From collection to processing to resale, OPT Inclusive ensures traceability and data integrity across the entire value chain. At OPT, we’re not just reducing plastic waste. We are building a system where recycling creates economic value, community empowerment and a cleaner planet. Do you have a plastic product you want to recycle or a design idea? Partner with us to ensure plastic never becomes waste.
