About Oceanik Education Society

Deaf, blind, single parents, orphans, school dropouts, economically disadvantaged, learners from stable backgrounds, interpreters, and teachers. This is what our classroom looks like. Crazy, isn’t it? It’s a microcosm of the world where students from all walks of life are present. We are Oceanik Education Society - a College located in Bengaluru, India. We are the only institution providing free comprehensive Inclusive Education that includes pre-university, degree, and 15+ skill development courses with hostel, food, and medical facility. Oceanik was founded in 1992 by Dr. N.M Poovaiah & Shobha K.M who are passionate educators who believed that all children, regardless of their background or abilities, deserve the opportunity to learn and reach their full potential. We follow a teaching style that is flexible, responsive, contextual, and designed around the needs of these students, so it is best suited to their specialized learning. We are a marriage of chaos and diversity as we take up this humongous challenge which is rewarding. We are open to collaborating, partnering, and working with different organizations, companies, and individuals who would want to contribute their 2 cents toward the mission of an inclusive society. Keep an eye on our feed to look at various initiatives that we are running.
