oculavis GmbH emerged from Fraunhofer Society and RWTH Aachen University and has been developing Augmented Reality (AR) based solutions for mechanical engineering as well as the manufacturing industry since 2016. Awarded as winner of the European Digital Prize 2019, winner of the North Rhine-Westphalian Founder’s Award and elected as top start-up in Germany 2020, we are one of the most successful scale-ups in Europe. oculavis SHARE offers the digital transformation of cross-locational processes in maintenance and customer service. Visual assistance enables fast service, increased machine availability and empowers machinery and equipment manufacturers to establish innovative digital business models in service. oculavis SHARE connects experts and technicians with mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, or smart glasses to collaborate on technical issues remotely. This massively reduces travel costs and increases productivity. The organic growth to more than 60 employees and worldwide use of the solution by more than 200 renowned industrial companies such as Liebherr, Linde, Trumpf or thyssenkrupp show the relevance and innovative strength of our Aachen-based company.
