About Offshore & Specialist Ships Australia Ltd.

Welcome to Offshore and Specialist Ships Australia (OSSA) Born from a shared passion for Australia’s rich maritime heritage, OSSA started as a small group determined to preserve the stories, artefacts, and legacy of our offshore and specialist shipping sectors. Today, that mission has grown into a national movement. We don’t just celebrate the past—we’re shaping the future. OSSA champions the vital role of the maritime industry in Australia’s economy and pushes for policies that secure its long-term strength and sustainability. From advocating at the highest levels of government to on-going expansion of a national schools program that inspires young Australians to explore maritime careers, we’re working to ensure our industry thrives for generations to come. Follow us as we honour the seafarers of yesterday and empower the maritime leaders of tomorrow. Preserving history. Advancing the future.
