About Oklahoma Monarch Society

The Oklahoma Monarch Society is dedicated to supporting statewide efforts to create and protect habitat for monarch butterflies and other pollinators in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Monarch Society consists of two programs: The Oklahoma Monarch & Pollinator Collaborative (OMPC), which was formed by attendees of the Oklahoma Monarch Summit in 2016 to collaboratively develop and implement a Statewide Monarch Conservation Action Plan. Okies for Monarchs, which was launched in 2018 by the OMPC as an education and outreach campaign designed to achieve objectives outlined in the Statewide Monarch Conservation Action Plan.
