About OLAM Africa Research Institute

OLAM AFRICA Research Institute is an independent, Africa-rooted think tank dedicated to bridging research, policy, and practice. Anchored in migration and human mobility, OLAM examines how governance, climate change, digital transformation, and security intersect to shape human security and development. Through independent, evidence-based research and inclusive dialogue, OLAM generates knowledge that informs policy, strengthens governance, and amplifies Africa’s perspectives in regional and global debates. The Institute partners with governments, civil society, academia, and international organisations to co-create solutions that are practical, rights-based, and locally led.
