About Old World Wisconsin Foundation

Old World Wisconsin Foundation, also known as Old World Foundation, is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1984 to support projects and programs at Old World Wisconsin, owned and operated by the Wisconsin Historical Society. Old World Foundation gratefully accepts donations from individuals, foundations, and corporations to provide additional support for Old World Wisconsin. Our foundation applies for grants, hosts fundraisers, and oversees endowment funds to benefit this treasured historic site. We are guided by a group of dedicated trustees who donate their time, talent, and treasure. Old World Wisconsin is a 600-acre outdoor living history attraction with over 100 animals (many are heritage breeds in danger of becoming extinct), 20 heirloom gardens, 60+ historic buildings and experienced facilitators and volunteers who bring history to life for over 50,000 guests each year. We would be honored if you would join us in celebrating the history of the Midwest by supporting Old World Wisconsin through Old World Foundation!
