About Ommed
Ommed is an infrastructure that organizes independent healthcare professionals into a coordinated network. Our vision starts from a clear observation: much of the healthcare system still operates in a fragmented way. Professionals work in isolation, use disconnected tools, and patient histories are often lost between consultations, clinics, and institutions. Ommed organizes this professional base into a network. Instead of contracting multiple systems and isolated vendors, professionals join a network that provides a complete infrastructure for their practice. They remain independent but operate connected to other professionals, with shared data standards, coordinated care, and institutional support. By becoming part of the network, professionals are no longer alone. They gain access to integrated clinical infrastructure, operational support, referrals within the network, organized patient data, and a multiprofessional community working in a coordinated way. Doctors, dentists, psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and other specialists can collaborate around the same clinical history, always with the patient’s authorization. At the center of this architecture is the patient. Ommed organizes health data into a longitudinal record that follows each person throughout life and can be accessed by authorized professionals. This improves continuity of care, reduces duplicated exams, and enables more informed clinical decisions. In addition to operating within the network, professionals who join Ommed can also become shareholders of the infrastructure they use. More than technology, Ommed is a structure that supports and connects professionals, organizes health data, and helps solve structural problems in the healthcare system, making care more coordinated, efficient, and centered on people.
