How Omnichunk Came to Be: One of our founders spent years in talent acquisition and recruitment, grappling with the same challenge: Recruitment is the act of solving a business problem by hiring a person. In order to do this you must: 1st - define the business problem 2nd - define the person to hire There is a wealth of tech and tooling to help define the person and little to none to define the problem. this is for 3 main reasons: 1. It is hard to understand problems. Particularly at pace and scale. 2. It is hard to communicate problems. Particualrly if they haven't been properly understood. 3. In recruitment, the problem haver and the problem solver are often different people. After building a tool to solve this, our customers used it for other meetings in the their business, 1:1s, performance reviews, Tech reviews, client meetings etc. We realised that we had inadvertently built a tool to ensure meetings are 100% productive. Hiring kickoffs being just where we started. Our Approach: We follow a “problems first” philosophy: every decision starts with understanding the root issue.
