Born with a hand difference, Laura began receiving OT services starting at the age of 8, igniting a passion for her profession at an early age. As a skilled pediatric OT for the past 25 years, Laura has served children, parents, and teachers, delivering evidence-based clinical and consultative services to preschool through middle school aged clients who experience a wide variety of behavioral, cognitive, learning, physical disability, and sensory processing challenges. Laura is skilled in mentoring aspiring OTs, collaborating on multidisciplinary teams of therapists and providers, public speaking, and leadership.
